The
Fashion Place West station is a unique and busy place. This is the only TRAX stop with 2 center platforms and 3 sets of rails. The east tracks are for northbound trains from Sandy and Daybreak. The center tracks are for southbound trains to Sandy, and the west tracks are for southbound trains to Daybreak.
Prior to construction of the Red Line (to Daybreak), the track from the maintenance facility (south-west of this station) connected to the main tracks north of the station, crossing 6400 S and running through what is now an additional park-and-ride lot.
The Red Line tracks now join the Blue Line tracks south of 6400 S.
